Refund & Returns Policy
1. Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since delivery, we can’t offer a full refund or exchange.
2. Return eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging. We require a receipt or proof of purchase (e.g. your order number or confirmation email) to process any return.
3. Non-returnable items
Several types of goods are exempt from return:
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
Please do not send your purchase back to a manufacturer β all returns go through Fast Gives directly.
4. Partial refunds
Only partial refunds are granted in certain situations, including:
- A book with obvious signs of use
- A CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, or that is damaged or missing parts, for reasons not due to our error
- Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
5. Refund process
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm receipt, and let you know whether your refund is approved or rejected. If approved, your refund is processed to your original payment method within a standard processing window (typically 5β10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer).
6. Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company β it can take time for a refund to post officially.
- Contact your bank β there’s often additional processing time before a refund appears.

7. Sale items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
8. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged on arrival. If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item for the same item, email us at cc@fastgives.ca and we’ll provide return shipping instructions.
9. Gifts
If an item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once we receive the returned item. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or the gift-giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will refund the gift-giver, and they will be notified of your return.
10. Shipping returns
You are responsible for your own return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g. wrong or defective item). Shipping costs are non-refundable; if you receive a refund, return shipping costs (if we covered them) will be deducted from the refunded amount. Delivery time for exchanged items may vary depending on your location. For higher-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance β we can’t guarantee receipt of a returned item sent without tracking.
